Higgsfield Pricing Explained: What One Video Really Costs

Published by Sagar Samy • October 22, 2026

Video creator reviewing AI video generations on a monitor while working out the real cost per finished video

You generate the video. It is almost right, except the hand bends oddly, the product logo warps, and the camera drifts where it should hold. So you generate it again, and again. By the time one clip is finally usable, the plan you bought for its friendly headline price has charged you several times over for the same few seconds. That is the real Higgsfield pricing question: not what the plan costs per month, but what one finished video costs you. On that question Higgsfield is unusually honest, because every plan card prints its own conversion from credits to videos. I ran the division on the live pricing page, and the answer changes which plan is actually cheap.

Higgsfield pricing plans: monthly vs annual billing

Higgsfield’s pricing page is currently showing different versions to different visitors, and this article covers the two main ones. The main lineup is Starter, Plus and Ultra, and the Basic, Pro and Max lineup that some visitors see instead is covered further down. One more trap catches most pricing write-ups: the page opens on annual billing by default. Here is the main lineup in both billing states, with the video count Higgsfield itself prints on each card.

Plan Billed monthly Billed annually Credits per month Videos per month (Higgsfield’s own count)
Starter $19/month $19/month 270 About 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos
Plus $59/month $47/month 1,200 About 80 Seedance 2.5 videos
Ultra $129/month $99/month 3,000 About 200 Seedance 2.5 videos

Ultra also scales up to larger credit pools for heavier production. The pattern to notice is in the last column: the plan cards do not count the same model. Starter’s videos are Seedance 2.0 Fast, the quick, lighter model. Plus and Ultra count Seedance 2.5, the flagship. You are not comparing three prices for one product. You are comparing two different products and a volume discount.

What one Higgsfield video actually costs

Divide each plan’s price by Higgsfield’s own video count and the ranking flips. The most expensive plan produces the cheapest video.

Plan Cost per generated video, monthly billing Cost per generated video, annual billing
Starter $1.27 $1.27
Plus $0.74 $0.59
Ultra $0.65 $0.50

Now the honest correction. These are costs per generation, not per finished video. Every AI video workflow burns generations on retakes: a hand bends the wrong way, the product label warps, the camera move misses. Retakes spend credits at exactly the same rate as keepers, so your real cost per usable clip is the table above multiplied by however many attempts your standard demands. In my own client work, that multiplier is the whole game. A plan that looks twice as expensive can be the cheaper tool if its model gets you a keeper in fewer attempts, which is why the flagship model being locked out of Starter matters more than the sticker gap.

The fine print that moves your Higgsfield bill

Four details on the pricing page change what you actually pay, and none of them appear in the headline price.

Detail What Higgsfield’s pricing page says
Credit rollover None. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each cycle
Taxes Prices exclude VAT and local taxes, which are added at checkout
Ultra 6,000 credits, monthly $220 now, renews at $250
Ultra 9,000 credits, monthly $310 now, renews at $375
Starter model access Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini only, no Seedance 2.5

The rollover rule deserves a pause. A credit balance that expires monthly rewards a steady production rhythm and punishes the burst pattern most small businesses actually have, where you make ten videos in launch week and none for a month after. If that is your pattern, a mid-tier plan bought for the busy month and dropped after can beat an annual commitment sized for your peak.

Higgsfield Basic, Pro and Max plans: the other pricing lineup

Some visitors opening the same pricing page see a different set of plans entirely: Basic, Pro and Max, with lower entry prices and smaller credit pools. If those are the names on your screen, this is your table. The structure mirrors the main lineup, because the cheapest plan counts the lighter Seedance 2.0 Fast model while Pro and Max count the flagship Seedance 2.5.

Plan Billed monthly Billed annually Credits per month Videos per month (Higgsfield’s own count)
Basic $9/month $9/month 120 About 7 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos
Pro $29/month $23/month 600 About 40 Seedance 2.5 videos
Max $79/month $59/month 1,800 About 120 Seedance 2.5 videos

Run the same division and the two lineups land almost on top of each other. Basic works out to about $1.29 per Fast video. Pro costs about $0.73 per video on monthly billing and $0.58 on annual billing, while Max costs about $0.66 monthly and $0.49 annually, the cheapest per-video rate on either page. The names and pool sizes differ, but the economics barely move, which is why the plan advice below holds whichever lineup Higgsfield shows you.

Higgsfield also serves further tier sets to some visitors, including a desktop set with a smaller entry plan and a phone lineup that starts cheaper again. The names and pool sizes shift, but the cost per video lands in the same place, so the advice below holds whichever set your own pricing page shows you. If your plan names match neither table in this article, compare your card’s credit pool and its printed video count the same way, and the right tier will be obvious.

Which Higgsfield plan should a small business choose?

Testing the water: Starter is a fair price for learning the interface and the prompting style, as long as you know you are learning on the lighter model. Judge the workflow on Starter, never the output quality.

Making content or ads every week: Plus on annual billing is the value point of the whole page. It unlocks every model including Seedance 2.5, and its per-video cost lands close to Ultra’s without the bigger commitment.

Producing at volume: Ultra on annual billing halves the per-video cost of Starter while running the flagship model. If video is a weekly client deliverable rather than an experiment, this is the tier the math points to.

If your pricing page shows the Basic, Pro and Max lineup, the same advice maps straight across. Basic is the learning tier at $9 a month. Pro on annual billing is the value point, with the flagship model at $0.58 per video, and Max on annual billing is the volume tier at $0.49 per video.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Higgsfield cost per month?

On the main lineup, Starter is $19 a month on both billing cycles, Plus is $59 billed monthly or $47 a month billed annually, and Ultra starts at $129 billed monthly or $99 a month billed annually for 3,000 credits. Some visitors are shown a different lineup: Basic at $9 a month, Pro at $29 billed monthly or $23 a month billed annually, and Max at $79 billed monthly or $59 a month billed annually. All prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout.

Why does Higgsfield show Basic, Pro and Max plans instead of Starter, Plus and Ultra?

Higgsfield shows different versions of its pricing page to different visitors, so some see Starter, Plus and Ultra while others see Basic, Pro and Max at lower entry prices, and a few are served other tier sets again. The plan names and credit amounts differ between the two lineups, but the cost per video works out almost the same on both, so check which lineup your own pricing page shows before comparing numbers.

What does one Higgsfield video cost?

Using the video counts Higgsfield prints on its own plan cards, one generated video costs about $1.27 on Starter, $0.74 on Plus with monthly billing or $0.59 on annual billing, and $0.65 on Ultra monthly or $0.50 on Ultra annual. Retakes cost extra credits, so a finished, usable video costs more than the per-generation figure.

Do Higgsfield credits roll over?

No, because subscription credits expire at the end of each credit cycle, and unused credits do not carry into the next month on either monthly or annual plans.

Is Higgsfield Starter worth it?

Starter is worth it for learning the platform, but it only includes the Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini models. The flagship Seedance 2.5 model requires Plus or Ultra, so Starter cannot show you the quality the higher plans produce. On the Basic, Pro and Max lineup, Basic fills the same learning role at $9 a month.

Is Higgsfield good for small business video ads?

Yes, for short-form product and social ads, provided you budget for retakes and pick Plus or above for the flagship model. The per-video economics compare well with traditional shoots, which I covered in my breakdown of AI video ad costs.
