Sadaf Kanwal – Set to make her big screen debut

Sadaf Kanwal is one of the most talented and renowned model in Pakistan Fashion industry. Her long height, charm attractive look and eye catching personality has made her one of the most wanted model of Pakistan Fashion Industry

She was born on 29th August 1993 in Karachi, Pakistan

Sadaf started her modeling career in 2010. Since then she has earned a huge name, fame, and success in the fashion industry. She has walked on numerous ramps, and done many cover shoots, and countless fashion shoots for the renowned brands and designers of Pakistan

She has won the title of “Ramp Ki Rani” as in couture queen, She has been Brand ambassador of many brands. And she has also won the award for the “Best Emerging Talent” in 14th  LUX Style Awards

After making a great name in the field of modeling, now she is all set to make her big screen debut in an upcoming film “Balu Mahi”

The film will be directed by Haissam Hussain, which is one of the best director of Pakistan. He has directed many super hit serials and is famous for “Dastaan,”“Dureshawar” and “Aunn Zara.” And will be produced by Sadia Jabbar, which is renowned for the successful drama serial” Mera Naam Yousuf Hai.”

While talking about her upcoming movie, Sadaf revealed,

“Many models gave the audition but I was the luckiest to be roped in. Osman Khalid Butt, Ainy Jaffri and I play lead roles in the movie. I’m quite comfortable acting in this film and I’m not nervous. I’ve previously done a drama serial but it’s yet to go on air.”

She also added,

“There will be two songs that she’ll be featured in.”

Maya Ali is one of the most talented, charming and renowned Pakistani actress. She started her career as VJ on different TV channels like Samma TV, Waqt News and Duniya News.

Since 2012, she has appeared in many super hit drama serials. She first appeared as an actress in the drama serial “Durr-e-Shahwar” on HUM TV. And then she got the role in the drama serial “Aik nayee Cinderella.” Since then the doors of success opened for her. She has not only been appeared in hit drama serials but also she has done many commercials, fashion shoots for the leading brands, and done ramp walk as well.

The year 2015 was one of the successful year for Maya Ali, because she has done many super hit and successful projects in the year and she has also walked on the ramp as a show stopper for the leading Pakistani designers. Her chemistry with Osman Khalid Butt in the drama serial “Diyar-e-Dil” which audience liked a lot, previously she has also done many drama serials with Osman Khalid Butt. This couple walked on ramp for the leading designers at FPW15 and TBCW2015. The fans are just crazy to see them together.

This year has also started with a promising note for the prettiest actress too, with her drama serial “Mann Mayal,” which is going to be on-air on 25th Jan at 8pm on HUM TV.

Maya Ali is also the brand ambassador for Maria B. this year.

Maria B. is one of the leading Pakistani designer. She recently launched her MBROIDERED luxury edition collection which really looks great on Maya Ali. It is such a big accomplishment for a model when a leading designer chooses her as their brand ambassador.

Sarah Sarfaraz and Zaid Ali Comedy Wedding Video revealed

Oh My God! Some peoples took this picture so seriously and they started posting and sharing this wedding picture of Sarah and Zaid on their social media by saying,

“Congratulations Sarah Sarfaraz and Zaid Ali,” “Sarah Sarfaraz and Zaid Ali ties a knot each other,” etc…

While in reality, it was just a shoot of comedy video in which Sarah and Zaid have to be bride and groom. But peoples started posting and sharing this picture without confirming neither from Sarah nor from Zaid

I myself became shocked at that time, when I saw in one of the news channel that Sarah and Zaid got married and read a ticker of it!

Within few hours, this news spread like a fire on social media and everybody who is fan of sarah and Zaid started sharing this picture

These all things happened on 5th Jan, when Sarah and Zaid  were busy in doing a shoot of their comedy video

And finally on 6th Jan, the comedy wedding video of sarah and Zaid revealed

Speed has become a trend, everyone wants to break news as fast as possible without knowing the reality

After watching all these things on social media finally Sarah Sarfaraz announced and clarified it by saying,

“For all my fans who have been wondering whether I really have tied the knot with Zaid Ali – No! Zaid Ali is an exceptional human being and I’m sure this would come as a surprise to him too the way media has taken this snapchat story, Zaid and I were working on one of his videos here in Lahore, which you will be able to see soon hopefully in which we wanted to project the image of a bride and groom, the reason for the getup. I have not gotten engaged/married and when I do, I would love to share my moments of happiness with all of you guys. I would also encourage the media not to make false stories or rumors about any one from the industry. If you want to know something from our lives we would share them with ourselves, tying the knot being one of them, looking forward to how you guys find Zaid’s latest video.”

Fashion Pakistan week Winter Festive #FPW15

Fashion Pakistan, is one of the leading platform for Pakistani fashion designers. Fashion Pakistan has a long tradition of holding bi-annual fashion weeks, with the very first Fashion Pakistan Week, which held in 2010. Since then, the council has continually looked to new ways to support Pakistan’s growing fashion industry.

The council organizes 2 fashion weeks in a year, one as spring/summer fashion week, and the other as autumn/winter fashion week.

Winter in Pakistan represents an array of festivities, weddings, winter balls, and the general mood of celebration. Previously known as the Autumn Winter show, but this year’s FPW Winter Festive promised to showcase all the colours of Pakistani festive wear, ranging from luxury pret to bridal, and formal wear. So, this time council came up with a very bigger, exciting and even better fashion week, which held in Karachi on 28th, 29th, and 30th November 2015, in collaboration with Urdu1 as the exclusive event and media partner.

The designers carefully selected by Fashion Pakistan to participate in this year’s Winter Festive include some of the most prominent names in Pakistani fashion. In which Shehla Chatoor, Toni&Guy Trend Show (featuring Sania Maskatiya and Deepak Perwani), Ayesha Hashwani, TenaDurrani, Hisham Malik, Sana Safinaz, Wardha Saleem, Maheen Karim, Obaid Sheikh, Elan, Nida Azwer, FnkAsia, Deepak Perwani, Umer Sayeed, Zaheer Abbas, Delphi by Nida Tapal, Zainab Chottani, Faraz Manan and Nauman Arfeen. Also showcased for the first time at FPW was renowned couturier Nilofer Shahid, who closed the event with the grand finale.

Many celebrities and showbiz stars became the part of it. In which Ayesha Omar, Imran Abbas, Mahira Khan, Adeel Hussain, Shehryar Munawar Hareem Farooq, Syra Shahroz, Maya ali, Osama Khalid Butt, Ahsan Khan, Faysal Quraishi, Aijaz Aslam, Mehwish Hayat, Sanam Saeed, Sarwat Gillani, Sana Bucha, and Waqar Ali Khan were there among others.

The event was managed by CKO Events Architecture, and backstage was managed by Production 021.  Saba Ansari and Samiya Ansari of ‘Sabs’ served as the official styling partners for the event.

Show direction and choreography done by Frieha Altaf of Catwalk Event Management and Productions. Latitude CRS was again handled the event PR.
