Glimpses from the Press Meet up of Mehrunisa V Lub U

Mehrunisa V Lub U (MVLU) is an upcoming Pakistani film, which is all set to be released on this Eid-ul-Fitr across Pakistan. A film is directed by Yasir Nawaz, whose super hit comedy film “Wrong No.” brought revival in Pakistani Film Industry, now the director is all set to give another hit. While the film is produced by Yasir Nawaz, Nida Yasir, and Hassan Zia, commonly known as YNH Film, and Urdu 1 pictures is the distribution partner of the film.

Sana Javed and Danish Taimoor are playing lead roles, while veteran actors Javed Sheikh and Qavi Khan will be seen in supporting roles. The trailer of the film has already been released, and has received such a positive response from audience that they can’t wait for Eid to watch this film.

Recently a press meet-up of MVLU was held at PC Hotel, Karachi. An event began with the red carpet with full of glam and glare, then the cast of the film was invited on stage for Q&A section. The host of the evening was elegant VJ/Actress Madiha Imam.

An event was attended by many showbiz celebrities, models, bloggers, press, media, and socialites. It was an evening where everyone was super excited to know more and more about the film.

While talking about the film, director Yasir Nawaz said,

“People are keen on watching movies which give full throttle leisure and we realized that when Wrong No. grew to become a hit. That’s once we conceptualized this film. It offers an important dose of comedy, drama, music, dancing and of course romance with a couple of twists and turns thrown in for good measure.”

While sharing experience actor Danish Taimoor stated,

I am very lucky that once again got an opportunity to work with Yasir bhai. That is just because each time that I work with him, I learn something,”

He further stated,

“I believe that the audience will love this film.”

While sharing experience actress Sana Javed revealed,

“My experience was great working with Yasir Nawaz and the entire team.”

She further revealed,

“Everyone has done so much hard work for the film, and this movie has everything, from action, romance, and comedy to adventure. And, I’m super excited for the film.”

Mughalia Ramp Walk is all set to be held at “IQbalance” season 3!

IQbalance is a combination of 2 words. “IQ” and “Balance” means to balance Iqbal in our life.

Allama Iqbal was a poet, philosopher and politician born in Sialkot, Pakistan, and is also known as Muffakir-e-Pakistan (The Thinker of Pakistan), Hakeem-ul-Ummat (The Sage of Ummah), and most commonly Shair-e-Mashriq (The Poet of the East)

Kamran Jawaid Aziz is the man behind this amazing concept of IQbalance. He started it alone but today there are more than 20 trainers.

According to Mr. Kamran Jawaid Aziz,

“Iqbal’s concept is the same as Maslow’s hierarchy’s concept.”

He further said,

“It is all about “How to balance Iqbal in our life.”

He added,

“IQbalance aims to transform the life of hopeless peoples with the ideology of Allama Iqbal.”

In September 2015, he started 1^st section of IQbalance. It was 3 months section and continued till November. The sections were conducted on 22 different venues including, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, etc. by different trainers, and at starting there were only 5 trainers.

While in 2016, season 2 was started and held at Park Towers in the form of Talk show. It was a one week episode, and different concepts of Iqbal were presented there.

And now in 2017, it’s time for season 3, and to take it at grand level with grand sections. This time the concept is “Ilm-o-Ishq.” The opening ceremony of the season 3 will be held on 6^th May at Park Towers, Karachi.

At opening ceremony the trainers will be introduced, then the poster of season 3 will be launched, and this time the glamorous part will also be added, means the Mughalia Ramp Walk with the name “Mughalia Terz-e-Ishq” will take place at opening ceremony.

It will be 3 months event, and will continue till August, and the grand finale will be at surprising venue. In between, 12 different trainers will conduct training at 6 different universities.

‘Whistle’ is all set to release!

So, another Pakistani film “Whistle” is ready to hit screens. The story of the film is written by Shafaq Ammad, and is produced by Mian Brothers & Meditation Productions, while directed by Ammad Azhar, is all set to release on 17^th February, 2017 across Pakistan.

Film’s story is unique and touches the sensitive subject of cross borders drug trafficking and drug penetration amongst the youth of the country. The film also encounters the media war against Pakistan and helps in creating awareness about this alarming issue.

The press conference of the film was held on 4^th January, 2017 at Paragon Marquee E11, in Islamabad. It was attended by press, media, and bloggers among others. The Chief Guest was Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi (Deputy Mayor Islamabad), who congratulated wished the team all the best.

The cast of the film includes Farhan Ally Agha, Tatmain ul Qulb, Sohail Sameer, Osama Bin Ghazi, Imran Ali Mani, and Aamir Kazmi among others.

While talking about the film, Farhan Ally Agha (Artist & Actor of this film) commented,

“Whistle is indeed a promising & valuable addition to the Pakistani Cinema. I’m sure the audience will enjoy every bit of it.”

Ammad Azhar (Director of the film) stated,

“Whistle focuses on placing the right & high image of Pakistan.”

He further added,

“It’s our prime responsibility to join hands in combating this issue of Terrorism & Drug Trafficking in Pakistan. We are making this film to highlight this respective issue, showing what our true identity is and what we are capable of.”

Mian Yasin (Producer of this film) revealed,

“It’s a pride to work for the betterment & promotion of Pakistani cinema and also to make a film like Whistle that highlights the spirit of nationalism in true aspect. My message to everyone is “be Pakistani, buy Pakistani and be proud of who you are”.

Shafaq Ammad (Storywriter & Art Director of the Film) mentioned,

“Pakistan is our Pride and Identity and we should never & at no cost compromise on our National Interests. Our youth is our future and it is each one of our duty to give them a favorable environment, keeping track of negative elements around us and eliminating them to help them grow with a positive attitude & mind. Our responsibility as Film maker is not just to entertain the audience but also to give a positive message to our youth.”

Apart from the above, both Executive Producers Kashif Mehmood & Osama Bin Ghazi congratulated the entire team for putting a great effort in making the film Whistle. Especially, director Ammad Azhar & producer Mian Yasin. They also mentioned the efforts of Djay3 production for their coordination during the production of the film.

Jeewan Hathi is all set to release

The trailer of upcoming Pakistani film Jeewan Hathi was officially revealed on 30^th September, in Karachi, by Matteela Films & Footprint Entertainment at an exclusive event with the cast of the movie along with the press, media and bloggers.

The movie is directed by Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi and written by Faseeh Bari Khan and is produced by Mazhar Zaidi and Shailja Khejriwal, under the banner of Mattela Films Company.

The cast includes Hina Dilpazeer (Popularly known as “MOMO”), Naseeruddin Shah, Kiran Tabeer, Fawad Khan, Samiya Mumtaz and Adnan Jaffer.

Jeewan Hathi is a black comedy, and is all about the race of TRPs in television industry of Pakistan that how the owners cross all the limits just for the ratings of show, and these all presents in such a comedy way.

The story is about an ideal, loving, lower middle class couple’s marriage is on the edge of collapse when they find themselves part of a TV game show, and attracted by the prize of an enormous screen.

While talking about the press meet-up, director Meenu Gaur said,

“We have worked really hard on the movie and the credit goes to our entire team for working hard day and night. This thriller/comedy movie is an attempt by our team to entertain the audience and we hope the people who visit the cinema would enjoy every bit of the movie.”

While talking about the press meet-up, actress Hilna Dilpazeer said,

“I’m playing a role of morning show host and my husband owns the TV channel where I work.”

She further said,

“He changes my show timings to the late night slot and tries to give the morning show to his girlfriend. I do protests and many different things to increase the ratings of my late night show. It’s an amazing comedy and that’s why I signed the film.”
